Favorite New Product and Work OOTD

I have discovered the most amazing stuff for the under eyes.  Bare Minerals Well Rested Eye Brightener Powder.
AH-MAZ-ING.
The dark circles under my eyes.....gone.  The well rested look....hello!  And it has SPF.  I also use it on red areas when needed and it just covers right over with a very natural look.  Love.

I've also tried the Bare Minerals Well Rested liquid, but the applicator leaves a lot to be desired and since it's a liquid, I feel it make my under eye shiny.

The powder is the way to go and I'm not kidding, it's amazing and you will not be disappointed.

And for my Work OOTD.  I figured we were on a roll with Old Navy, so I thought I'd share one of the crepe dresses in my closet.  After all, after this week, I'm usually at a loss with Old Navy, but I'm the type that when I find something I really like, I buy it in every color!

Black Old Navy Crepe Dress, J. Crew inspired bauble, Angela Moore bracelets, black pumps.

Mascara: Bare Minerals Flawless Definition is AMAZING!

For years I've been using Maybelline's Great Lash Mascara.  It was the best thing I could find and I know a good majority of you agree with me (not to mention the adorable pink and green case).  However, during the winter with my horrid allergies, I can't wear this particular mascara as it doesn't have an hypoallergenic qualities and any little tickle makes my lids swell and push my contacts around.  It's just a mess and I end up having to wear my glasses and no mascara.  And I just haven't found another hypoallergenic mascara that covers as well.

Anyways, for most of my other makeup, I'm a Bare Minerals girl. I like not having any liquid on my face whatsoever outside of moisturizer and this makeup achieves that, gives nice natural coverage (and get this....) stays fresh ALL DAY LONG.  Recently, I purchased one of their kits and included was Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Mascara.  I'd never tried their mascara before so I was game.

There are several Flawless Definition mascaras from Bare Minerals so to be clear, this one is the original (no waterproof, no volumizing or curling).

I am SOLD!  I will never go back to Great Lash.  It's absolutely amazing and even though it's not marketed as hypoallergenic  I have had zero issues wearing it!  Yay!!  It has great coverage for my thin lashes.  It lengthens like I've never seen a mascara do before (I have very short lashes) and it thickens them without clumping or overdoing it and keeps a nice, natural separation between the individual lashes.  I actually received a compliment on my lashes!  Seriously, who has ever received a compliment on their eyelashes?

I thought I would never get away from Great Lash.  It's a great mascara, Bare Minerals is just better.  I will never go back.

And there you have it, my latest makeup update.  Try it, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Smokin' Hot!

I've taken pictures with Instagram before but have never really played with the picture enhancements.  So the other day, I got bored and decided to have some fun with Instagram and take pictures of my fun shoes and fun new nail polish :-)

(What?  I was in my satellite office, all by my lonesome, waiting for a client with a slowly booting up computer and no music)....This girl knows how to make use of her time!  ;-)
These are super fun shoes that I've had forever.  Cute little Mary Jane style heels in black and white polka dot satin (who doesn't love polka dots?).  I don't wear them often (because they hurt....ouch blisters!) but I certainly get compliments when I do!  They were a Target find from before Lallie was even born!
The fingers are my newest Essie color, Smokin' Hot.  I LOVE this color.  I never thought I'd be one for a dark polish, but this one suits my fancy just fine.  It's a dark gray, Smokin' is the perfect name (hot, hot, HOT!).  I won't venture to blues, greens and purples though.  Just not going there.

Speaking of nail polish.  What is your favorite clear topcoat?  I'm in serious need of help here.  I've tried dozens (okay, like 6) but all of them dry at a snail's speed and then they get dull after they dry, not shiny at all.  It takes away from the shiny nail color.  So I don't use it.  But then I end up chipping my nails after 2 hours.  Help!

Happy Thursday Y'all!
