Veggie Garden

Good Monday morning y'all!

It's a very busy day for Mrs. SLPS but I wanted to let you know about a couple of things coming up this week on the blog.

First, don't forget about the Mixed Bag Designs giveaway HERE.  You won't want to miss out on this amazing giveaway.

Second, I will be posting about our fall garden this week!  Husband spent most of the day yesterday and Saturday last weekend planting our gardens!  I helped last Saturday but yesterday, I was doing indoor chores, so he worked on it by himself.  It was mostly all him though as the veggies are most certainly Husband's babies.  Lallie and I will just sit back and reap the benefits (no pun intended!)  I have pictures coming, but for now, here is a little teaser for what we hope our garden will look like this year.

We learned a lot from the spring crop, its successes and failures, and we will share some of our newly learned tips with you.  In the meantime, we hope that the tomatoes, lettuce (2 varieties), squash, zucchini, spinach, basil, cilantro, parsley, oregano, eggplant and corn all come out wonderful!  (Well, the corn hasn't been planted yet as it doesn't go in the garden.  I shall explain later).

That's all for now.

Happy Monday Y'all!

  1. That garden is absolutely beautiful, I can't believe you are planting righ now...you luck out with the longer growing season that we have.
My garden is just about finished now.
Can't wait to see how it turns out.

  2. Our garden was so sad this Summer, but it was our own fault! Luckily we did use a good bit of the herbs.

I tagged you today, so hop over and check it out :-)

  3. What I wouldn't give to be able to plant a garden in October. Here, we're preparing for snow (Although, it was in the 80s today and all week. Yay!)!
