Lallie Style and Thanksgiving Feast

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  My parents were in town for the holiday which meant travel was NOT in our schedule (a wonderfully accepted change of pace).  It's been a tough couple weeks though as my mom had been sick and in the hospital.  But all is well now, she's perfectly healthy and on the mend! Thanks the good Lord!   So, it was a special blessing to get to see her and my dad after such a tough
couple of weeks.

It was only the four of us (plus Lallie) so we really didn't need much food...but oh boy....oh boy did we cook like crazy!  Turkey (of course), two different dressings, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, green jello salad, pumpkin pie, pecan pie.  My oh my, we ate turkey and sides for days!

In other news, Lallie never wears normal clothes at home, she is constantly playing dress up and loves to mix characters.

All in all, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving (and yes, a little shopping too!)  We already miss Grandma and Geezer (what Lallie calls my dad).

Happy Cyber Monday Y'all!
