Latest Lallie-isms

Lallie is SO funny, she has certainly received her Daddy's sense of humor.

The other night, I was cooking dinner and Husband was watching the news.  Lallie was playing by herself and all of the sudden blurted out "Well paint me blue and call me Dave!"  Husband and I just looked at each other with the "what was that?" face.  When asked where she heard it, she said it was from a "macercial" (commercial).


Near. Far.  Wherever you are.

She also has a very vivid imagination and loves to sing made-up songs and tell stories.  Here's here latest.

 "Once upon a time there was a princess 

named Princess Peach. 

  She loved to swim in the pond, 

day after day after day after day after day. 

So one day, Princess Peach went 

swimming in the pond and saw an alligator. 

The alligator ate her up and thought that she

was not tasty.  She he

threw up Princess Peach onto the ground. Then

 she put herself into the washing machine 

and got all clean. 

 The end."

Lallie doesn't nap unless she's on the boat. She had 3 last Saturday. The first on the way off shore for her first fishing trip (where she watched a movie and played her leapster.  Such excitement!).
The second nap was on the way back in to the sandbar for some beach time.
This was nap number 3 on the way back home (with full on drooling no less ).
