Easter at the SLPS household was a big hit! Lallie loved her basket as it was overflowing with candy and toys (I'll admit, we were a little overzealous this year.)
The Easter service was wonderfully alive and full of spirit, we really enjoyed it, as we usually do each Sunday. Here we are dressed in our pink and orange Lilly Pulitzer. I had bought Lallie's dress on sale last year and didn't decide to do matching dresses until a couple weeks ago. Since it was last season, I was able to score my dress on Ebay, NWT for $60.00! Whoop, de doo!
Granny was in town for Easter this year. It so happened that Spring Break (no school for Lallie) coincided with Easter and so, we were in luck and actually got to spend the holiday with family this year! We usually spend Easter with our friends, and one set of Lallie's Godparents (and we're always grateful to them and we love them to death), but it was nice being with family for once.
Of course, can't forget the big Easter egg hunt. The bunny (which so happens to be living in our back yard right now with it's babies) came and hid 29 candy and money filled eggs! I wish I had gotten a video as nothing is as sweet as a 2.5 year old's high pitch voice screaming "oo" and "ah" as she ran the yard looking for eggs. She was running so fast, her poor basket couldn't keep up with her.
Later on that evening, we walked across the preserve in our back yard to the golf course, where we took Lallie's new kite for a flight! Lallie absolutely LOVED flying her kite and can't wait to get back out on the course again!
All in all, we had a wonderful Easter and hope you did too!
Looks like a lot of fun!
