What a weekend!

Granny and Grandaddy came down this weekend for a grandchild fix as they won't see Lallie again until Christmas.  It was a quick weekend, and got a little stressful on Sunday with Lallie being in a bit of a mood.  But all in all, we had a wonderful time visiting with the grandparents!!

So, what did we do (besides having Lallie wear nothing but PINK all weekend!)

And oh the things our children say.  At one point, Grandaddy was taking Lallie to the potty for a #2 and when she was finished, she politely asked Grandaddy "do you want to smell my tail?"
WHERE do they get these things!!!  HAHAHAHA!

Well, Friday night, we went to the church fall festival pig roast and it was FREEZING!!! Okay, not freezing, but it was the coldest it has been in South Florida since last March and none of us were prepared (the pig roast was held outside).  It doesn't usually get very cold until January, so winter clothes were scarce.  We quickly ate our cold food (it was warm when we got it but by time we walked to the table, it was cold).

Lallie, surprise-surprise, got her face painted with her buddie, Lauren while Husband and Uncle Mike took a look at the used book sale.  It never fails, Husband brings home some of the best books from the church bazaar!

This picture makes me sad that Lallie is growing up so fast!  She doesn't look like a three-and-a-half year old in this picture, she looks so much older and sophisticated!  I wish she'd stay little forever!
Saturday morning, we went to Target.  Love Target and we go there nearly everytime Granny comes to visit as she loves Target too, but doesn't get to one very often at all back home in Kentucky.
Later that night, Daddy made his vegetable beef soup (YUMMMM!), perfect for this winter-ish weather we're having.  Plus, I just feel so healthy and great the day after eating this soup and it will last for a couple days!  He made a HUGE pot!

Granny and Lallie played with Play-Doh....a lot.  And then we watched Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and Sleeping Beauty!  It was the first time watching Cinderella for Lallie, Grandaddy and Husband, so that was pretty special.

ME - I know the movie by heart since my brother watched it over and over and over and over again, multiple times a days, for what I'm absolutely sure, was months (when he was 3 or 4 years old).

This morning, I just couldn't resist taking a picture of Lallie in her pink velour track suit and ribbons.  I'm sorry, I know I'm biased....but isn't she just the cutest darn thing?!?!?!?! :-)

I'll leave you with this little video.  I'm such a proud mommy!  I especially love the last part.  Too cute!

Happy Monday Y'all (stay tuned, because tomorrow, I'm going to need some advice from all you mommies on car seats!)
